How to apply for C1/D visa (Seaman) & B1/B2 Visa (Tourist visa)

In order to get visa appointment with the US Embassy, applicants may use either a Web Pin or a Live Service PIN;

INSTRUCTIONS

v By the Web Pin: purchase a Personal Identification Number (PIN) (12$ or 408.00 THB)





PIN ACTIVATED: Next working day of purchase after 1:00 PM and online available 24 hours a day. You can only cancel or reschedule your appointment twice with the same PIN. If you have not made an appointment in 90 days, your PIN will expire

v From the homepage, click “Visa Information and Appointments”









v Read and accept term on “Determining Where to apply” page.





v Determine where to apply (Bangkok or ChiangMai) then click “Accept terms & conditions”.





v On the screen “Create Login Information” if you are First time user, go to set up your new online User Account, then enter the 15 digit PIN number from Thailand Post where it says “I have already purchased a PIN.”, click “submit” page and fill in all required information.









v Click “Submit” and follow the website instructions.





v By a Live Service Pin (Visa Call Center): purchase a Live Service Pin (20$ or 680.00 THB),





PIN ACTIVATED: Next working day of purchase after 1:00 PM, once pin is activated applicants call up to speak to with a Visa Call Center (Working Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM – BKK time, Mon-Fri except Thai Holidays). The Live Service Pin will allow a total of 3 scheduling/rescheduling opportunities. If you need to call fourth time, you will be asked to purchase a new PIN.

v Dial 001-800-13-202-2457 (Please note that you must have international phone access)





v You will hear an interactive voice response system, to continue in Thai: Press 1 / English: Press 2









v If you have already purchased a PIN from Thailand post: Press 3 (If not: to purchase a PIN Press 1)





v After listening to instructions, put your 15 digit PIN number indicated on your receipt and Press #









v The system will monitor whether the pin is valid. If valid, you ill be transferred to the next available agent. If the system returns the PIN as invalid, please follow system phone prompts appropriately.





Required Documents for Non-Immigrant Visa (C1/D Visa (Seaman) & B1/B2 Visa (Tourist Visa)

All applicants must submit document as following;

v Must submit one completed DS-156 Non-Immigrant Application and signed. Attaching the Photo to the DS-156 (Glue or Staple the photo to the DS-156 in the designated space.





v Must submit one completed DS-157 Supplemental Non-Immigrant Application.





v Pay a non-refundable application fee of $ 100 (4,454 THB) and save your fee receipt and bring it with you on the day of your interview. The fee can be paid at the participating Thailand post offices. You cannot pay the visa application fee at the Consular Section.









v Current, valid passport, any previous passports containing U.S. visas or travel document





v Seaman book (If you are a SEAMAN) & a valid Letter of Employment from the Employer.









v Please bring 75 baht to purchase the envelope, which can be purchased at the Thailand Post located on Embassy grounds. Your passport will be sent back to you in a few days by Thailand Post’s rapid EMS courier delivery system.





Non-Immigrant Visa Photograph Requirements

v The photograph (2 x 2 inches, passport type) must be a full face photo with the head centered in the frame with a white background, no borders, and the ears must be visible, taken within the last six months.
